Terms of Use for Blackjack Trainer

Blackjack Trainer: 21 Coach ("the app") is a blackjack basic-strategy practice trainer with an optional upgrade, Blackjack Trainer Pro. The app is operated by Appana Ventures LLC ("we"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms.

License

The app is licensed to you, not sold. On iPhone, your use of it is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA") together with these terms; these terms add to the Standard EULA, they do not replace it. On Android, these terms apply together with the Google Play Terms of Service.

You may use the app for your own personal learning. Do not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the app, or use it in a way that breaks the law or the Standard EULA.

What the app is

Blackjack Trainer teaches blackjack basic strategy. You practice hands against a simulated dealer, and the app grades each decision and explains the correct play. It is a practice and education tool.

No real money, no wagers, no payouts. There is nothing to win, and there are no prizes of any kind. The app is not a gambling service.

Basic strategy lowers the house edge, but it cannot guarantee how any real hand turns out. What you do outside the app is your own decision and responsibility.

Blackjack Trainer Pro

The app is free to start. Blackjack Trainer Pro is optional and is sold in two ways inside the app: a yearly auto-renewable subscription and a one-time Lifetime purchase. The price of each is shown in the app before you buy.

• Payment. The purchase is charged to your Apple Account or Google Play account when you confirm it. We never receive your card or other payment details.
• Automatic renewal. The yearly subscription renews automatically for another year unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal is charged to the same account: on the App Store within 24 hours before the end of the current period, on Google Play at the start of the new period.
• Manage or cancel. You can manage your subscription, and turn off automatic renewal, at any time in your Apple Account settings (on iPhone: Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions) or in Google Play (Play Store app, then your profile, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions). Canceling stops future renewals; Pro stays on until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Lifetime. Lifetime is a single payment. It does not renew and is not charged again.
• Restore. If you reinstall the app or move to a new phone, use Restore Purchases in the app to get Pro back on the same Apple Account or Google account.
• Refunds. Apple and Google handle payments and refunds under their own terms. For an App Store purchase, use reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple support. For a Google Play purchase, see Google Play's refund help. We cannot issue refunds for store purchases ourselves.

To confirm and restore purchases, the app uses RevenueCat, as described in our Privacy Policy.

No account

The app has no account, sign-up, or login. Your settings and practice statistics are stored on your own device. If you delete the app, that on-device data is removed.

No guarantees

We work to keep the strategy tables and explanations accurate, but the app is provided "as is", without promises that it is error-free, always available, or suited to any particular purpose. To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the app or relying on what it teaches. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the law that cannot be limited.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.
